We are excited to announce our current project for 2017/18 is: INVISIBLE MUSIC: Variations on a Theme. A sound piece about the loss of sound inspired by people with mild to moderate hearing loss.

This two-part project in partnership with Winchester Theatre Royal/Hat Fair will follow on from our recent commission ‘Eddy Smith Was Here’ from the Royal Festival Hall, London.

It will engage lip reading groups in the Winchester area in documenting their lives and their experience of 'sound' after hearing loss.

This will be developed into newly composed pieces and layered audio experiences by Jules Bushell and Bellowhead’s Pete Flood. It will create an 'Archive Sound Machine' which is triggered over a 5 piece live band in a series of performances touring throughout 2018. Go on the Invisible Music Page for updated touring dates – but we Premiere on THURSDAY 8th FEBRUARY 2018 at Theatre Royal Winchester. We will be also offering a paid sound technician internship in partnership with the University of Winchester.
